My name is Melanie and I am Professional Pianist and Private Teacher offering tuition to students in Norwich and the surrounding areas such as Wymondham, Hethersett, Cringleford, Earlham, UEA /Golden Triangle and Catton.

I have been teaching for over 12 years now and teach privately in my home opposite Sewell Park school and also travel on selected days to students houses for tuition in their own home on their own instrument. 

I am a classically trained pianist who has completed the Graded exams 1-8 with the Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) I hold a Performance Diploma with the London College of Music (LCM) since 2012, and ARSM performance Diploma by ABRSM also.

I am qualified with Grade 8 Music Theory ABRSM

I am able to teach all ages and abilities from complete beginners to more advanced levels.

I currently teach adults as well as children with some taking exams and some learning for fun and I welcome anyone who does wish to learn for fun.

As I am experienced in learning and taking exams with the ABRSM exam board I generally teach my students from this syllabus but I have taught pupils using the LCM syllabus and entered them for LCM exams if they chose to do so.
